Create protected areas of your website that can be accessed only by specific groups or individuals such as physicians and staff, clients or patients. Password protection allows you to host sensitive information on your website while controlling who can view that information.
Content that is commonly password-protected includes:
- Employee/member contact information
- Event calendars
- Meeting minutes
- Pre- and post-operative patient instructions
- Practice/company reports and other documents
- Archived newsletters
- Test results shared between physicians or from physician to patient
You may allow visitors to apply for usernames and passwords through a contact form on the website, or you may choose to issue usernames and passwords off-site only.
