Pinterest Launches Accounts for Businesses
As you may know, Pinterest is one of the fastest growing, and has become, one of the most popular social networks. While businesses have successfully used the unique photo-sharing site to create and share content, Pinterest recently announced new business accounts, aimed at helping more businesses share content on Pinterest and making it easy for consumers to pin from their websites.
How to create a business account on Pinterest?
If you already use Pinterest and want to convert your account, or and if you’re starting fresh, you can join as a business here.
To create a verified business account, you’ll have to go through a series of steps that Pinterest explains in detail on their blog.
Once verified, your profile will show the verification badge, as seen below, which aims to give authority to your content—helping your business be found by fellow pinners! You will also be able to integrate the Follow button, Profile widget, or Board widget to get more engagement from pinners and traffic back your site. Learn more here.
