The Expansion of MedNet Technologies
Founded in 1998, MedNet Technologies has grown from the start-up company formed by the two original founders to its present staff of more than 50 employees. The company is divided into seven departments within its corporate headquarters located just outside of New York City; sales offices are located in the southeast and on the west coast. MedNet clients are located in all 50 states and 14 countries throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.
MedNet's Executive Management has been involved in software development and marketing since 1983. The team has more than 70 years of collective experience in information systems management for healthcare, accounting, financial services, and advertising.
Sales & Marketing
MedNet's Sales & Marketing Team adopts a "solutions-oriented" approach. Our consultants look to find the right combination of MedNet services to achieve each of our clients' individual objectives. Team members have past sales experience in medical/dental device manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, software, financial and Internet services. In addition to our New York-based sales team, representatives are based in California, Florida and New Jersey.
Our talented Graphic Design Department includes graphic designers and artists, FLASH™ developers, audio/video specialists, logo developers, site structurers and programmers trained in the most up-to-date web design software and techniques. Specializing in healthcare web development has given them unique expertise in crafting sites that are tailored to practices of all sizes, specialties, and goals. In addition, the graphic design team offers ancillary services such as logo and brochure development.
Among the developers in our Content Department are specialists in layout, writing/editing, proofreading, image selection and the integration of additional features (e.g. FLASH™, e-commerce, audio/video) into client websites. They fill websites with engaging text and photographs using MedNet's vast content and image libraries. Our copywriters are experienced in medical and healthcare content development and trained to write in a variety of specialties and styles.
Through a combination of organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click Search Engine Management (SEM) techniques, MedNet's Visibility Services Group works to register our clients' websites with popular search engines, enhance ranking positions, manage online marketing campaigns, drive traffic to client websites, and generate monthly analytic reports which clients can access online.
We have a dedicated Customer Service Team who make modifications to our clients' websites and ensure that they remain consistently up to date throughout the site's life on the Internet. Customer Service team members work one on one with clients over the phone and via email as well as through MedNet's new ticketing system to make sure all changes are made accurately and in a timely manner.
The experienced technicians, application developers, system engineers and other specialists in our Information Technology Department manage MedNet's e-mail, domain and hosting services, develop custom website databases and shopping carts, and assist clients in resolving problems with e-mail and other technical support issues. Most recently, the IT team has been responsible for upgrading MedNet's webservers and developing a client relations management (CRM) platform.
Our Administrative Staff provides support to all departments and managers, coordinates trade show appearances, and liaises between MedNet groups and clients to ensure that websites are developed on a timely basis. Our Accounting Department takes care of client billing questions, while our Human Resources Department manages internal communications and company events as well as the recruitment of new employees to the MedNet teams.
MedNet Corporate Events
MedNet's employees take pride in creating quality products for our clients. Fueling their energetic dedication is the atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly competition fostered within the company. Many of our employees play on the company softball team, challenging other teams in local corporate leagues throughout the spring and summer. MedNet also hosts frequent company-wide events such as summer barbeques and an annual holiday party.
