Salesperson   

We are seeking an experienced salesperson that is both aggressive and self-motivated to close sales of MedNet's website development services. Account management duties are also required. The position requires 30% to 40% travel to medical meetings and conventions outside of New York, and local travel to clients and prospects in local territories.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Introduce, demonstrate and explain website development services to physicians, dentists and practice managers.
  • Heavy telephone sales for accounts and prospects outside your territory.
  • Local travel to medical, dental offices and healthcare companies within your territory.
  • Work company exhibit booths at medical/dental conferences and trade shows throughout the U.S.
  • Present company services at various medical and dental society meetings.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships. 
  • Nurture existing client relationships to open new business opportunities.
  • Work directly with management to identify, contact and penetrate new and existing accounts.
  • Use contact management software to track and communicate with prospects and clients; other sales-related functions.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2 - 3 years high volume, successful field/telephone sales experience.

We are seeking a website developer/content writer to fill client websites. This position requires knowledge of general website layout, communication with clients, and management of multiple projects. Ability to author web content is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work as a team member with staff of 10-15 web developers to fill websites with text and images, both supplied by clients and selected from company stock libraries.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information on their practices, facilities, procedures, etc.; fine-tune materials provided by clients.
  • Develop narratives of professional biographical information for physicians, dentists, technicians and staff members based on supplied CVs.
  • Update client websites with changes to written content, photography, graphics and illustrations.
  • Proofread and edit websites and content materials.

The System Administrator is responsible for managing the company’s in-house systems consisting of multiple MS 2000+ servers, 40 desktops using MS 2000 & XP, 8 handheld PDAs, routers and switches, firewall, SonicWALL backups, tape backup system and VPN. Application software includes MS Outlook/Office 2000/2003, CRM system, Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver/Photoshop) and other applications.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage Linux web/Windows 2000 servers and internal network
  • Help desk/customer service support for customers and staff
  • DNS/domain management
  • Trade show set-up support with occasional travel to cities throughout U.S.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2000
  • Networking: routers / switches / layer 3 firewalls
  • Hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Linux command-line experience
